DAIRYING INDUSTRY.
REPRESENTATIVE ON ENGLISH MARKET. IMMS PRESS ASSOCIATION. Stratford, last night. A meeting of delegates from the various dairy companies of Taranaki, held here to-doy under tho auspioeß of the National Dairy Association, approvod of tho appoint, meat of a representative on the English market. Most of the delegates agreed to | pay 2s 6i pcv ton of tho output towards his salary and expenses, others not wishing to commit tbeir companies et that stage. Over 12800 was guaranteed in the room, and if the scheme is taken up in other parts of the colony it will be possible to considerably reduce tho contribution per ton. The appointment will be left in the hands of tho Executive of tho National Dsiry Association. At a meeting subsequently hold, b Taranaki Dairymen’s Club was formed, for disoussion of matters affecting the industry.
