ALLEGED MURDER.

FATAL QUARREL OVER A GIRL.

Eltbam, yesterday. On Saturday two meD, Swiss farm bands, bad a dispute. One, Darned John

Boltin, was goiDg to strike the other disputant, Charles Sohicker, who had an axe handle in his band, with whioh be struck Rollins over the left car RolHds staggered and fell. He was carried into a wbare and died shortly afterwards. The quarrel took place Dear KapoDga. Schicker was arrested early on Sunday morniDg. He made do attempt to get away. It does not appear to have been a drunken row, but there was some dispute about a girl, There were two witnesses to the affair. Charles Schicker was brought up in oustody before the Magistrate’s Court on a charge of kiliiDg John Bollin, and was remanded to the 9th inst. Bail was refused.
