Ho oalmly rejoined his wife, remarking, 11 Ho ruinod you; now I have fixed him.” Thaw and his wife, a beautiful actress known as Evelyn Nosbit Thaw, have been arrested.

He had both an American and a European reputation os an architect. Ho was largely responsible for the beautiful Trinity Cburob, at Boston, IHe was a married man. Mr Thaw is a I ypuog man, and inherited the fortune of bis late father, Mr William Thaw, of Pittsburg. His sister, Aiioo Cornelia, married the Earl of Yarmouth, heir to the I Marquisale of Hertford, in 1903,
