(Pab Press Association.) Wellington, last night. In tho Appeal Court this afternoon, the appeal by Braund against the decision of Justices Edwards and Cooper in connection with the destruction of the Colonial Bank’s books was begun, Braund requiring them to bo kept for a farther period, as an action was pending against some of tho late directois of the bank. The decision of tho judges was that the Court had no jurisdiction, and made an order for farther preservation, and it was from this that Braund appealed. Braund is conducting his own case, and had not concluded argument when the Court adjourned until to morrow.
