PTOMAINE POISON.
| (Per Press Association.) Falmorston North, last night. At an inquest todiy touobing tho death of O. Hoskiog, sgel 66, a verdict wes found that Mr Hosking died from heart failure oaused by exhaustion from the eff.cts of ptomaine poisoning, through having eaten tongue prepared by a North Island Baoon Company. The presenoe of the poison in tho meat Beerns from the evidence to be purely acoidmtal, and no blsnn is attachable to anyone- Me Gilluth and several members of tbe veterinary stall gate evidence.
