At a unction held in Zion Hall last night the Bev. J. S. MoOullough moved tbe following resolution : 11 Whereas John Alexander Dowie of Zion Oity has been found guilty of violating every one of tbe Ten Commandments, and whereas the overseers of Zion City found him guilty of bypoorisy, oriminal exravaganos, embezzlement, tyranny, dastardly O'miempt , for the sufferings of those he pauperised, [ and of blasphemous claim to Divine authority to e>osk b's villainies ; therefore it is resolved chat we m* inbers of tbe Christian Apostolic Cburoh of Zion in Melbourne renounoe his leadership for ever and dissooiate ourselves absolutely from bis personal or his delegated authority ; farther that we support Me MoOaPough in laying these faots before the people of Australasia, and that we will further support him in his attempt to secure for Australasian investors in Zion City their just dues. Deacon Smith rose and tried to speak, Hi was a supporter of Dowie, but Mr McCullough declined to hear him. There was considerable uproar, but tbe choir suddenly rose and sang the Doxology.
