ALARMING STATE OF AFFAIRS By telegraph, Press Aas’n, Copyright Rome, April 8. The principal crater of Vesuvius is very active. The inhabitants of the villages are movmg their property. They did not. sleep on Friday night. The lava current is surrounding Boscotrecase. A new aperture in the mountain has appeared.
