HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.
The monthly meeting of the Trustees was held yesterday. Present : Meesrs Nolan (chairman), Harding, Joyce, Johnston, Tuohy, Matthews, and Dewing. Correspondence as to the isolation ward site was read. Mr H. J. Rougher forwarded £49 9s, balance of the money raised by sports at Waerengaa-hika. A late'patient wrote convoying, thanks for kindness received, and enolosing cheque for £5. Regarding the contract let to Messrs Smith and Scott, now bankrupt, the Secretary said a number of liens had been eoot in. Tenders had been called for the completion of the work, but as all were considered much too high, the matter was referred to the building committep. Messrs Tuohy and kjattbewa reported that everytbiog was progressing satisfactorily Bt the hospital. Captain Tucker and Mr Tuohy were appointed a visiting committee for the month

' The'teport of the committee Bit up was adopted, An increase of the' medical superintendent’s salary from L 175 to L2OO per annum was approved of, and an in crease of the matron’s salary from LIQO to LUO.
