He is convinoed white labor would end in moral and economic failure. There was no taint of slavery about tho employment of Chinese. The ory wbb very,unjust, unworthy, and untrue. The Chinese wore belter fed aod housed, and better paid than tbe averaged unskilled laborer in British factories, Chinese outrages wore not more prevalent than occurred in English communities.
