(Per Press Asnociation.) . Ashburton, last night.

Two ladies, Mrs Lylian, of St. Aveley, and Miss Yan Asche, of Christchurch, left tit, Aveley yesterday at 8 a.m. to climb Mt. Somers, . which is about 6000 ft high. As they did not return in the evening search parties went out, but returned without finding the ladies. A search party of ten went out oarly this morning and found the ladies, who had lost their way in the fog and camped out all night, lighting a large fire, and they aro nothing the worse for their adventure;
