JOCKEY INJURED.
(Per Press 'Association.) Christohuroh, last night. While being schooled over the hurdles at Ellerslie this morning, in oompany with Tnakihia and Jess, Siiioia struck the first fence heavily, bringing down Jess, which was close behind. Phillips, the rider of Jess, was thrown dear and es« oaped without injury; but Deerey, who had the mount on Siliaia, was not so fortunate, the horse rolling over him and breaking his collar-bone, besides shaking, bjm badly.
