Mrs Harris progressed favorably during the night, and there is now a probability of her recovering. Iq a statement made to tbe doctor prior to an operation at the hospital last night, Mrs Harris admitted tbe deed, and asoribed the cause to a quarrel with Murfitt, who intended leaving her to live with his niece. The inquest opened this afternoon, and was adjourned till April 6tb, the police stating that thero was every probability of the woman recovering. j
