The Russian Government Commission estimates that tho agrarian disturbances in twenty previnoee, excluding Courland and Livonie, caused damage to landlords to tho extent of five million two hundred thousand pounds sterling. Eight hundred houses belonging to German landlords in tbo Baltic provinces were burned.

The Daily Express’ Moscow correspondent reports that after overpowering the bank guards, the gang placed a large infernal machine in the middle of the building, threatening to blow it up if the slightest attempt was made to raise the alarm. They locked the clerks in inner rooms while they ransacked the desks and Bales, the whole opesation only tskiDg fifteen minutes.
