ANOTHER WILLIS CASE.
APPLICATION FOB PROBATE.

An application was made to the Chief Justioe by Mrs Willis for probate of the will under whioh sho was appointed trustee for her son in the matter of 20,000 acres of land at Cunnamulla. The Chief Justice said the circumstances of the case were peculiar. Mrs Willis is the wife of Willis, concerned in the land transactions in New South Wales, and already holds three blocks of 20,000 acres adjoining tho one sho seeks to control under the will. The Act lim t 3 the holding of grazing lands to 60.000 aores. The witnesses to tho will are Hoskins and MoNair, whose names are also well known.
The Chief Justioe held that the oiroam. stances were so suspicious that he mas! adjourn the application for fuller investl gation.
WILLIS’ EXTRADITION. APPEAL AGAINST DECISION. By lolegrafih, Press Ass’n, Copyright Received 12 12 a.m., March 19. Pietermaritzburg, March 18. Willis is appealing to the Supreme Court of Natal against the Magistrate’s deoision that he has no jurisdiction under the Fugitive Offenders Ac 1 !.
