.(Per Press Association.) Blenheim, last night. The total for the forty-fourth week of the New Zealand Egg laying Association is 1454, making a grand aggregate of 78,895. The highest J .yiogs for the week was Leger’s, Levin, 28; Betha Edwards, Blenheim, 27 ; Mick Shaw, Blenheim, 26 ; Miss Lynn Edwards, Blenheim, 25, ah the above pens being white Leghorns. Tbe order of merit in (he grand aggregate runs : Leger, of Levin, 1256 ; Brooks, of South Australia, 1122 ; Marlborough A. and P. Association, 1119; Jonathan HodgsoD, of Blenheim, 1088 ; Mick Shaw, of Blenheim, 1087 ; Hockey, brown Legs horns, Nolson, 1051, tbe first five mentioned beiDg white Leghorns, There are six other pens now above the thousand. Leger wins the last month’s prize with 111, Betha Edwards 104, Marlborough A. and P. Assoc ation 103. Tho weatbe: has been favorable. The moult proceeds freely.
