PROPOSED ARRANGEMENT. (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, last night. At a meeting of the Otago and Southland Licensed Victuallers’ Assooiatidn, it was resolved to respectfully ask the incoming Licensing Committee that 10 o’clock be fixed as the hour at whioh hotels should oloae in Dunedin, Sonth Dunedin, Caversham, and Port Chalmers. With respect to the eleotion of licensing committees a motion was passed that in justioe to tbe community tbo licensing committees should embrace an equal proportion of men who represent the moderate party and no hcenso •seotions, and with the view to eeouriDg harmony, and avoiding unnecessary expense to the public tbe secretary be requested to interview leaders of the no license party to secure that object.
