In another column appears an advertisement of a special meeting of the above Club to be held this evening in the schoolroom at 8 o’clock. Daring the short time that the Club has been in existence it has been by no means idle. Amongst other things it has been instrumental in forming a gymnasium, which will re-open during the winter months, The Club now purposes launching out iu a more definite manner, and with this end in view it is now considering an offer of club rooms iu a central part of the town. The meeting to-night is. called mainly for the purpose of deciding whether the offer of rooms shall be accepted. We are sure that the efforts of the Club authorities will meet with the approval of all interested. Old members of the Club, as well as intending members and friends, are invited to attend the meeting to-night.
