WHITE LEGHORNS MAINTAIN A LEAD. . ,(P*E Pres* Association.) Blenheim, last night. The total for the forty-first week of the New Zealand egg-laying competition is 1510, making a grand aggregate ol 74,260, and a weekly averago per pon of 15.16. The highest layings are—R. Bishop’s silver Wyandottes 30, B. Edward’d white Leghorns 28, F. Plumm’s Minoroas, Nelson, 27, Alsxaida Fou’lry Coy’s while Plymouth Bocks 27, Legec’a white Leghorns 26, Worthington Bros’ black Orpiogtons, Auckland, 26- The order of merit in the aggregate now runs—H. Leger 1169, Brooks 1073, Marlborough A. and P. Association 1045, Jonathan Hodgson 1022, Mick Shaw 1017. All these pens Were white Leghorns.
