At a meeting of the Trades and Labor Council to-night the following resolution was carried: " That owing to the continued lock out of the larger number of women in the clothing trade in Dunedin, this Council deploro3 the inaction of the Minister of Labor in failing to make enquiries into the alleged irregular action of several clothing manufacturers who aro responsible for the present condition of affairs, and again urge the Ministar for Labor to take immediate steps to enforce the provisions of the Conciliation and Arbitration, Act rolating to strikes and lock outs.
