Copenhagen, Jan, 31. Prince Frederick’s accession to the throne was marked with great popular enthusiasm. The new kiug made a manly, pathetic speech from the balcony of the palace. He was tumultouely cheered.

London, Jan, 31. The bells of Bt. George’s Chapel at Windsor tailed eighty seven times. Queen Alexandra will not be present with King Edward at the opening of Parliament. Army offioers will observe mourning from the first to the seventh. Received 10.18 p.m., Jan. 31. The Court goes into mourning for six weeks. Queen Alexandra is starting for Copenhagan on Monday to attend the funeral.
