H.M.S Egeria’s bluejackets in surf boats attempted to Bave the Valencia’s Burvivors clinging to the rigging, but the rough sea prevented success. One hundred and thirty-nine persons were drowned. ' Received 937 p.m , Jan. 26. Twenty more of those who were on the wrecked Valencia havo been rescued on a raft.
