An unfortunate accident occurred at tho raaeeou'se this morning. A jockey ’named Rowe, belonging to Foxton, was exercising Lady Whito, when the animal swerved and threw tho boy against a post, splitting his skull. There is no hopo of irs recovery.

Later.—The joc-key Rowe, who was injured while schooling the mare Lady Whife, lies in a precarious condition. Tbo two doctors attending have stitched the bead, but holdout no hopes of recovery.
