.(Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. Tho further hearing of the case in wbioh Helen Marks was charged with attempted procuration and with lroeping a houso of ill-fame, was concluded at the Police Cauit to-day. The evidence of a 19 year-old girl wa3 to the tfleet that she had been in tho employ of accused for about five moriths. She went there to work in the houso, and after she had been there about a fortnight, accused asked her fce comply with an immoral request. She at first refused, but afterwards consented.

Auoiher girl gavo evidenoo, stating that she entsiei into au arrangement with accused that sbo should receive ba'f of the money she obtained by immorality. Accused pleadol not guilty, and was committed for trial on both charges. Bail was allowed in ono surety of £IOO and a deposit of £IOO,
