The Department of Trados and Commeroo has received tho following cablegram from the High Commissioner, dated LondoD, 12th Decombor: The importation of River Plate mutton, lamb, and butter into tho United Kingdom for the month of November totalled 249,691 carcases mutton, 1913 oaveases lamb, and 4674 owt of butter, distributed as follows: Mutton, Londou 71,991, Liverpool 156,420, Newcastle 1920, Hull 8100, Southampton 2190; lamb, London 500, Liverpool 1413; butter, Southampton and London 4684 owts.
The High Commissioner also cables: The wool sales have concluded. The rnaikot closed very Btroog. Supplies do not moot requirements.- Market prospects aro favorable. The estimated value of Guo crossbreds, all grades, is Is Id to Is ;j j, medium crossbreds ull grades lid to Is Id, course crossbreds all g'ados 9£d to Is Ojd, super merino Is 14 to la Old, m.dium lid to Is Id, inferior 81 tr 10)d.
