MEETING AT ORMOND.
The Tarangsnui Lodge, No, '* 7, U.A.0.D., held a very successful meeting on Saturday evening in the Ormond Hall, which had been fitted up as a lodge room by Bro. 0. Neenau. There was a large attendance of town and country brethren, and nineteen candidates were initiated during the evening into the secrets of the Order. The strength of the lodge is rapidly increasing, the total now being 384, and it is expected that it will number 400 before the half yearly meeting. Bro. Dartoo, A.D., in returning thanks to the brethren for their attendance, specially 1 thanked Bro. Neenau for the trouble he had gone to in preparing for the meeting, and for large number of candidates he had presented. He made mention for the benefit of the new candidates of the.great benefits whioh the Druids afforded, instating the last death claim paid, £l2l 11s, and stating they were all now insured for £IOO, He hoped they would all work for the good of the Order, aud held up Bro. Neenau as an example of what a true Druid really was. After the meeting refreshments were handed round, and a social evening spent up to the time of the departure of the train.
