SHOW AT RANGIORA.

{Per Press !Aeeocla'ti©n.>} ’ i . Christchurch, last night. There was very favorable weather to-day for the Northern A. and P, Association’s annual show at Rangiora. The total number of entries was 710, as against 646 last year. The sheep entries numbered 127- Ensor Bros- took the championships for fine combing merino rams and ewe with lamb, and the White Rook station took the championship for strong combing rams and ewes. In Shropshires Johns’ estate swept the prize list. In Oorriedale rams G. D. Greenwood took the championship. For cattle there were 72 entries. In shorthorn cow or heifer R. 0, Throlkeld took the championship. J,'Johns’ trustees’ bull Beaulif took the championship among three-year-olds. There were 251 horses: and ponies. Mclntosh Bros.’ stallion Glenzier and_ Wyllic Bros.’ mare Red Rose gained the championships, and T. Wyllie’s filly Flora MoDonald gained the grand ohampionship of £2O. Wyllie was the; largest prize-taker in draughts. The pig entry was an average one. The gate takings were £62 16s, as compared with £6B 3s 6d last year.
