Ohristchuroh, last night. The weekly offioial review of the progress of the New Zealand- International Exhibition states that the date of laying the foundation stone of the Exhibition is definitely fixed for Anniversary Day, Deoember 18th. It was decided that the band concert should commence on February 11th, 1907, and oontinue for the six days ending February 16th, 1907. A sum of £7OO will be given in prize money, and will be distributed in the following manner: Grand selection competition, six prizes, tbo first being £150; quiokstep competition, five prizes, tho first being ,-£SO; solo competitions for various instrufluents; speoial side drum contest” and quartettes, and trombone trios and competitions. At the instance of the Technical.soienoe committee a circular has been prepared, and will be issue! Immediately to a}l interested in teohnioal soienoe, inviting exhibits dealing with matters relating ip training in arid practising of the application of science to any, form of labor or manufacture or any other pursuit, .
