In the House of Representatives Mr Higgins directed attention to General Booth’s statement that Australia was hampered by the industrial Labor Party. He asked Mr Deakin to see that the true attitude .of the Labor Party wa3 placed before the London public. Mr Deakin promised to call General Booth’s attention to the position. The Minister for Defenoo orders immediately 5000 additional magazine rifles and a large quantity of artillery ammunition. • .
