HARVESTER TRUST.

!(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. A deputation including representatives of local manufacturers of agricultural implements interviewed Messrs Herdmau and Allen, members of the House of Representatives, this morning to draw their attention to the danger threatened to the industry by the operations of the International Harvester Trust. It was mainly urged that protective duties should be imposed ou imported machines, and that tbe duty on raw material used by Now Zealand manufacturers should bo removed. Messrs |Hordman and Allen expressed themselves in sympathy with the arguments of the deputation, and promised to give the subject favorable consideration.
