Blenheim, last night.

I To day the police received from the I Medical Officer of tbc Hospital a letter I addressed to him, aod purporting to bo I signed by a youog fatmsc resident near I town, saying that his body would be found ( in some scrub in Tuamariua district, the I apparent intention of the writer being to commit suicide. The polios have been oat searching, but could find nothing. As the young man in question is missing the affair assumes a serious aspect. It is not known whether the letter is genuine or a hoax, one report being that the man was ween to-day travelling along the road to Nelson.
