tion resolutions were carried approving of I the Premier’s proposal for a oonferenoo between employers and employees to discuss matters relating to tbo trade conditions of. the colony, and reoommending ! that efforts be made to give effect to the proposal. The gold returns for the past three weeks for the Auckland district amount to £62,830. Thiß completes the yield for third quarterly period of 1905. The bullion won during the throe months ia valuedt at £242,524, a record for any one quarter.
