Brisbane, Oct, 3. Disappointment is expressed at the | refusal of the Federal Government to allow an extension of the, cable from German New Guinea’ to Coolitown. It is considered to be a repudiation of the promise given by the Philp Government. It is believed that a large extension of trade would result from direct communication with German and British New Gninea and the Bast.
