TERRY COMMITTED FOR TRAIL. ’(Per Press Association.)' Wellington, last night. Lionel Terry, the self-accused murderer of a Chinaman in Haining street oa the night of the 24th, appeared before Dr MoArthur, Stipendiary Magistrate, to-day. Prisoner was unrepresented by counsel. Medical evidenoe was given similar to that adduoed at the Coroner’s inquiry. Several other witnesses were also examined, but no new facts of importance have been elicited so far. When cautioned in tbe statutory manner as to whether he had anything to say, aoonsed replied in tbe negative. He was then formally committed for .trial.
