The train was got throagh to Outram in the afternoon without trouble, the backing up of tho Silverstream being temporary. The losses -of farmers on the Taieri through mortality among young lambs and ewes will probably coi bo so heavy as at firs! feared, but it is not yet possible to speak definitely.
