Mr William O’Brien, in a letter read at the land and labor meeting at Cork, declared that legislation for Ireland was only possible either by revolutionary movement forced ns a land league, or an agreement with the reform section of the landholders whioh alono enablod the Land Purchase Aot to be passed. He was confident tho people would conclude that the resumption of land, which the conference polioy offered, was the only solid hope of the futnre of their cause.
