A tremendous sensation has been caused by an official inquiry reyealing that a New York Life Insurance Company gave a total of £35,000 to the Republicans’ campaign fund during the last three Presidential eleotions, fearing that the eleotion of a Democrat would jeopardise the interest of the company.
