High-weight Handioap.—Handeome 1, Position 2, Royal Arthur 3. There were 13 stutters. The betting was 6 to 1 eaoh Handsome and Position. Handsome won by four lengths. Time, 1.14*. . Members’ Handioap.—lsolt 1, Roycroft 2, Bluster 3. Ten started. The betting was 2 to 1 on Isolt, who won easily by 1* lengths. Time. 1.55. Steeplechase.—Up-to-date 1, Dingo 2, Middlerise 3. Nine started. The betting was sto 2 against Haydn and 6 to 2 the winner. Bosun and Dingo led for a time, when Up-to-date went to the front, and won easily by a dozen lengths. Time, 7.1*. Haydn ran off. Waverley Handicap,—Soot Free 1, Bromine 2, Elvo 3. Nine started, The betting was 5 to *2 against Soot Free, who woo by half a length. Time, 8.2. Randwick Plate. Nightfall ... 1 Marvel Looh ... ... ... 2 Emir 3 —AIbo started; FJ.&. Betting: 7t04 on Emir, 9to 4 against Nightfall. Tho latter went to the front at tho mile, and goiiig away all the time won in a oantor by 20 lengths. Time, 8,57*. Final Handioap— Lucknow 1, St.Modan 2, Fasboda 3. Won by a length. Time, 2,8. ;

The amonnt put through the totalisator was £5179. The results were : Maiden Plato Handicap—Trephine 1, Franklin 2, Leonatoc 8. Scratched— Wbakahihi, Idol,” Lady Clements, The Lark. Won by a nook. Time 1.22 1-6. Divs. £4 2s 6d and £2 7s. First Handicap Hurdle Race—Banana 1, Loch Fyne 2, Inniskillen 8. Also Btartod—Fieramoaa and Ted Fene. Won by a leDgth. Time 4.8. Divs. £2 2s, Avondale Stakes—Sweet Alioe 1, Mignon 2, Le Mascot 8. Also started—loglis, Waimarama, Inatori, Lady Frances,Azoff, Primo. Won by five lengths. Time 6.8 4.5, Divs. £1 19a and £1 16s fid. Avondale Cup Handicap. Putty 1 Lycia 2 Akarana 8 Scratched—Apologue. The winner got none too well away, but was up with the leading division half a mile from home and ultimately won his race in a business like style by two lengths from Lyoia. Time 2.17 1-5.
