> {Per, Press Association.) Wellington, laßt night. The Education Conference conolnded to-day. It was deoided that the question of adoption of the Navy League wall maps was a matter for individual boards. It was resolved that tho Government be urged to provide more assured finance in connection with techuioal instruction;

also that with a view to increasing the efficiency of public schools the Government be urged to consolidate where possible the number of Bmall schools into a more central school.
