The weekly official review of the progress of the Now Zealand International Exhibition states that a London Board of honorary commissioners was beiug appointed, to consist of Lords Onslow and Ranfurly, Sir Walter Buffer, Sir Montague Nelson, and the High Commissioner for the oolony. Tho Exeoativo Commissioner proceeds
to Dunedin early next week to attend a meeting of oitizens called by the Mayor to set up a local advisory committee. It has been decided to abandon the proposal to have an original ode for the opening ceremony on November Ist, 1906, and to have the Festival Te Deum composed by Sir Arthur Sullivan for tho thanksgiving sorvico on restoration to hoalth of the Prince of Wales.
It was a'so agreed that a band contest should be held. It was resolved to reoommend that the foundation stone should be laid on Anniversary Day, Decomber 18th, and that the Premier as president, be asked to invito tho Governor as patron to perform the duty. Tho Premier of South Austra'ii had promised to assist in arranging for an exhibit of South Austra'iau wines and other looal products.
Tho official notice of tho Exhibition for circulation in New Zealand was issued this morning.
