BIBLE IN SCHOOLS.

DR. GIBB’S GRIEVANOE. (Per Presa Association.) Wellington, last night. Dr. Gibb referred from the pulpit last evening to the breach of privilege committed by him in writiag letters to Messrs Hutberford and Witty on their attitude on ihe Bible in schools question. Ho Bald it had come to a grievous pass when in this .supposedly free community a man may mot speak out bis conviotion about Parliament and its members without hindrance. It was a time for the promoters of the great crusade far the restoration of tbe Bible to tbe public schools to speak straight out and to insist that promises made to them should be kept. Under similar oiroumalauees ho would again do lexactly what he did.
