Ohristohuroh, last night. The statement for the eighteenth week of the egg-laying competition at Lincoln College shows that 894 eggs were laid during the week, making a total of 8644 its date. Tho best day’s laying since the ■start of tho competition was on September: 3rd, when 139 eggs were laid. The highest' for the week were:—W. B. Cowlishaw, black Orpingtons, 34 ; George RollinsoD, blaok Orpingtons, 33; H. Leger, white Wyandottos, 33. The highest for tho 18 weeks are:—H. Hawke, silver Wyandottes, 431; J. Mann, white Wyandottes, 869; A. W. Price, black Orpingtons, 367 ; ‘E. Welder, blaok Orpinetons, 356; A. H. ißristed, blaok Orpingtons, 854,
