MAN SHOOTS HIMSELF.
FOUND DEAD IN BED.
XPtt Press Association.) Napier, last night. A man named John Hyland, eaid to be a nephew of the proprietor of HylaDd’e Cirous, was found dead in bis bed at the Albion Hotel this evening. There was a bullet hole in the man's head, and a (revolver loaded in all but one chamber w*9 in his left hand. It is supposed to be a case of euioide. Hyland arrived at the hotel on Saturday evening, and retired about 10.30 p.m. He retired on Sunday. His door was found to be locked, but ae that was not unusual no alarm was folt. On the wifo of the proprietor going the rounds this evening, however, she found the door still looked, with the key on the inside. The police were at once oommuni«ated with, and they burst the door open, finding Hyland's body lying in the bed and half covered'with the bedclothes. The only motive whioh can be suggested for the deed is that the man was under suspicion of theft, and the polieo were making enquiries into the oaße,
