Alien moved tbo adjournment of the debate on Mr Ell’s Rating on Unimproved Values Bill. , This was carried by 31 to 25, and the House rose at 12.35 a.m. AFTERNOON SITTINGThe Council met at 2.30. The Shipping and Seamen Bill and Maori Land Council’s Bill were read a Criminal Code Amendment Bill passed through Committee. The House met at 2.30 p.m. , The afternoon sitting was devoted to consideration ot local Bills.
