CLEARING SALE AT WAIOITO. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company on Wednesday, July 26tb, at Waiomo, near Okoroire, held ii oloarina sale of live and dead stock on behalf of tho Now Zealand Thames Valley Company, and report a most sueoessfal sale. The wontber being fine buyers were attracted from all parte of 'Waikato and Auckland districts; many largo buyers wore present also from Gisborne,Taranaki, Napier, Wbakatano, Tauranga, Te Puke, Thames, Paeroa, Kawhia and Te Kuiti. Tho 2500 cattle were in good order, and with the exception of one small lot wore purchased by outside buyers. One mob of [ nearly 1000 went to Gisborne, 800 odd to Waingaro and RaglaD, 500 Tauranga and To Puke, 400 To Kuiti. • Tho breeding cows realised from £3 15s to £4 2s, 2 year heifers £2 17s 0d to £S 2s, 2& to 8 year old Btoors £4 Bs, steer ealvejj £3 2s to £2 4s, heifer calves £1 18s to £2 Is; 18 month Bteers £3 2s to £3 7s, 18 month heifers £2 3a to £2 17s, 23 dairy oows £3 14s to £4 3s, polled Angus bulls £5 6s to £6, shorn horn bulls £4 to £6 ss. The horses attracted extra attention, tho 106 head being disposed of in sn hour and a half. Unbroken 3 year old draught colts and fillies £27 to £36, 2 year olds £l4 to £25 10s tl yearling draughts £lO to £l6 l§s, 3 and 4 year old haoks and harness colt' £ls to £lB 10s, 2 year pids £8 iOs to £ll 10s, foals £6 10s to £l2 15b, the latter price) being obtained fur a foal by Ereedpm, brood draught mares £26 10s to £33 10s, aged £8 to £2O, broken draught mares and geldings £B3 16s to £45, others £2l to £39, upstanding hacks and harness horses £22 to £32, stock horsßs £3 to £l7. The farm waggon®, implements, buggies, harness, saddles, and other station requisites all realised good values throughout!. Great credit is due to the estate manager for the sale arrangements, also to tho proprietor of Okoroire Hotel for accommodating such a largo number of people for two nights, and Mr Callaghan, ooaoh proprietor, who provided amplo transit facilities.
