RUSSIA DEMANDS SURRENDER OF MUTINEERS. REVOLT NEAR ST. PETERSBURG
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Received 11.32 p.m., July 11. St. Petersburg, July 11. Russia has demanded the surrender ol mutineers as common law-offenders under tho extradition treaty. It ,is believed Roumania must comply.
London, July 11. The Daily Mail’s St. Petersburg correspondent reports that a naval reserve bat* talion drilling at Kronstadt refused, to execute otders, and an officer shot tho nearest soldier. Eight bayoneting him, killed the officor. Cossacks arrested tho aggressors. The latter were sentenced to death, and will shortly be hanged. This revolt near Peterhof profoundly impressed the Czir.
