MR PERCY DENTON'S CONCERT.

A popular concert will be given at His

Majesty’s Theatre to-morrow evening by Mr Peroy Denton. As we'have already stated, the programme is a good one, and should please the most fastidious. Mr Denton will be accompanied in some of hiß songs by the Club orchestra, and this m itself should prove quite an attraction. Miss Madoline Knight’s appearanoe will be a welcome one, as her sweet voioe has made many friends for her in Gisborne, Mr Dudley Trent will be heard in Adams’ song, “ The Zuphoremumand Maseher- | oni’s superb,-song “ Till Death.” Mr A. F. Kennedy will give one of his recitations, which are always pleasing. The City Band and the Gisborne Club orchestra will provide the instrumental items, which will be much appreciated. Mr Denton will impersonate the premier, ’ and deliver a speech ‘ full of local allusions, entitled Topics of the Hour,”.and also sing his celebrated topical song, “ A Poll Parrot told it to Me." It is to ho hoped that Mr Denton will be welcomed with a full house.'

Mr Denton has arranged -to give a ooncert at the hospital this afternoon to the patients ; ho, having been a patient in the Wellington hosnital for 4',( knows hqty such things appreciated by patients and tend fca cheer them up.
