ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

1 A very pretty, though quiet wadding * took place at the residence of Mr Jas, 1 Rosie, Bright street, yesterday afternoon, 1 the contracting parties being Mr Herbert Edward Royds, eldest son of Mr T. S. Royde of Invercargill, and Miss Florenee McClive, only daughter of the late Mr W. MeClivo, and grand-daughter of Mr Jas. Rosie. The bride was tastefully attired in a rich wedding dress of cream surah silk, faggot stitchpd, trimmed with stringcoloured lace, and small tucked frills on hem. The bodice was crossed over in Romney style, and trimmed with white accordeon pleated chiffon and lace medallions. Tho bride was attended by Miss Jessie Rosie, who wore a pretty dress of cream embroidered voile, trimmed with: striDg-coloured insertion and large medallions, with a deep frill of lace on the* bodice and rings of gathered china ribbon. Sho wore a pretty greenstone and golS bangle, the gift of the .bridegroom. Mrs McClive was attired in a dross of handsomo black mervellieux, with deep flounce and trimming on bodice of black spottod net string-coloured lace fichu. MrC. Fenwick officiated as best man. Tho marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. G„ Paterson. The happy couple were the recipients of a large number of presents, including a handsome set of silver carvers* and entree dishes, presented by the Btaff of Messrs Nelson Bros, at the Taruhera works. Mr and Mrs Royds left for Invercargill by the Southern steamer last evening.
