BURGLARS’ APPEAL.
Pei Press Association. Christchurch, last night. Allondale and Dennett, recently convicted and sentenced to imprisonment in connection with the burglary at Amberloy railway station, have forwarded to the Court of Appeal an application for a nev trial on the ground that the verdiot in ibi• first trial was against the weight of evil denoe. It is stated that the applioatioh will be heard next Monday, and that both prisoners will appear in support of their application.
