MR BOND’S PROMOTION,

MR FRASER COMES TO GISBORNE

As a result of the bringing into operation of the Union Company’s superannuation scheme, a number of those who have reached tho age limit will be retired, including Captain Easther, cashier at the head office, Mr G. Lambie, branch manager at Christchurch, and Mr Orr, branch manager at Blenheim, as well as a number of subordinate officers.

Mr S. K. Sleigh, general traffic manager, has been appointed branch manager at Christchuroh, Mr Rudd, sub-manager at Lyttelton, assumes tho branch managership at Blenheim.

Mr Higgins, assistant traffic manager, becomes general traffic manager, with Mr Bond, at present in charge at Gisborne, as assistant.

Mr Fraser, local traffic manager at Wellington, succeeds Mr Bond at Gisborne. Mr Eva, chief clerk at Auckland, succeeds Mr Fraser at Wellington, while Mr Grimmond, of the Wellington office, takos Mr Eva’s place. Mr Pearson, aoting sub-manager at the Bluff, becomes sub-manager at Lyttelton, and Mr R. Back, of the Lyttelton office, goes to the Bluff as sub-manager,
