In connection with the appeal to the Privy Council in the Chalmers local option poll petition, Mr A. S. Adams, counsel for those opposing the petition, has agreed to waive the formality of the production of tho Privy Council’s judgment. Mr C. C. Graham has been informed, and has referred tho matter to the Crown law officers. If they approve, the hearing of the petition to invalidate the local option' poll will shortly take place.
